I worked as a career team writer at San Jose State University from January through December 2018. My job was to create one or two posts per week for the Career Blog on the iSchool website. I researched topics relevant to a soon-to-be LIS graduate and then wrote blog posts on them. At times, I interviewed faculty or outside experts. I consistently submitted high-quality content, and my posts required little to no editing from the content manager. This experience allowed me to demonstrate my research, writing, editing, and communication skills. This was a temporary position, lasting only two semesters.
